RELEASE
Release date and current availability
Verified release, platform, language and storage information from Capcom and the current Steam listing.

01Official global release date
Capcom’s September 7 post-release sales announcement reports more than one million units sold worldwide on the first day and lists September 4, 2026 as the release date.
A regional digital storefront can render a different calendar date around a global unlock—for example, the current US Steam display shows September 3—so use the signed-in local store for local availability and Capcom’s dated product record for the global release date.
02Official platform list
Capcom lists PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Availability, price and language support can differ by region, so the signed-in product page for your account remains the final purchase reference.
03PC storage and language listing
Steam lists 50 GB of available SSD storage. Its current table lists interface and subtitle support for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish (Latin America) and Traditional Chinese.
Full audio is not listed for Arabic, Korean, Polish, Spanish (Latin America) or Traditional Chinese, leaving nine currently listed audio languages. Verify the live Steam table before purchase; it is not a promise for every console SKU.
04Release-fact audit
The table separates a verified fact from conclusions that the same source does not support. That distinction matters when older announcements or regional store metadata remain online.
| Question | Verified answer | Do not infer |
|---|---|---|
| Is the game released? | Yes. Capcom’s September 7 sales announcement reports first-day worldwide sales and lists September 4, 2026 as the release date. | A September 3 regional store display can reflect local time; it is not a separate global launch. |
| Where is it released? | Capcom lists PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. | Do not add last-generation consoles, Switch 1 or macOS without a current first-party listing. |
| How much storage is needed? | Steam currently lists 50 GB available space on an SSD for PC. | The PC value is not a universal console download size, and installation overhead may vary. |
| Which language is included? | Steam publishes a PC language table; console storefronts publish their own regional information. | A language on one platform or region should not be promised for every physical or digital SKU. |
05Five checks before paying
Use this short audit on the actual signed-in storefront that will own the game. It prevents a correct global fact from becoming a wrong purchase assumption.
- Confirm the product page names your exact platform generation, not a similarly titled edition or demo.
- Check the account region, price, tax display and refund terms while signed in.
- Open the language table for that platform and distinguish interface, subtitles and full audio.
- Check download size and leave additional free space for installation and updates.
- Read the edition contents as an item list; do not assume that a higher tier adds story chapters.
06How differing listings are handled
This guide uses Capcom’s dated corporate announcement for the worldwide release record, then uses current platform pages for region- and platform-specific availability. A regional store displaying September 3 and Capcom naming September 4 can both describe the same rollout from different time zones; that is not automatically stale metadata.
Genuine first-party conflicts should be shown with both dates and scopes instead of silently choosing the more convenient value. Prices, packages, languages and file sizes are rechecked at purchase.
