BUYING GUIDE
Compare the currently listed editions
A factual comparison of the Steam editions; regional storefront descriptions and prices can differ.
01What every edition includes
The Standard, Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Steam listings all include the base game. The higher tiers add named kits; they do not replace the base campaign.
02Current Steam comparison
These are the US Steam list prices and contents visible when this page was reviewed. Confirm the live description in the account and region that will own the game.
| Edition | US list price | Published difference |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | $69.99 | Base game. |
| Deluxe | $79.99 | Base game plus the nine-item Deluxe Kit. |
| Premium Deluxe | $89.99 | Base game, Deluxe Kit and ten-item Premium Kit. |
03Use the item list, not the tier name
Read the current storefront item list before paying for an upgrade. Cosmetics, charms, outfits and the mini digital soundtrack should be evaluated separately; availability can differ by platform and territory.
04What the price ladder means
On the reviewed US Steam listing, each step costs ten dollars more than the tier below: Standard to Deluxe, then Deluxe to Premium Deluxe. That arithmetic does not determine value by itself. The useful question is whether the named items in the next kit are worth the incremental price to you; all three tiers already include the base campaign.
| If this describes you | Start with | Check before checkout |
|---|---|---|
| You only need the complete base game | Standard | Confirm that no separately named kit item is personally important. |
| At least one Deluxe Kit item matters | Deluxe | Compare the nine-item list with the live platform SKU and price the upgrade, not the total package. |
| A Premium Kit item also matters | Premium Deluxe | Verify that the ten-item Premium Kit is additional to the Deluxe Kit on your storefront. |
| You are undecided about cosmetics or soundtrack items | Wait and compare | Check whether an upgrade path or separate kit listing exists; this guide does not assume one. |
05Edition now versus adding a kit later
The reviewed US Steam page also lists the Deluxe Kit at $19.99, the Premium Kit at $19.99 and the combined Premium Deluxe Kit at $29.99. At those current list prices, buying Deluxe Edition for $79.99 is $9.99 less than buying Standard at $69.99 and then the $19.99 Deluxe Kit. Premium Deluxe Edition at $89.99 is $9.99 less than Standard plus the $29.99 combined kit.
This comparison is a dated US Steam snapshot, not a promise that every region, platform, sale or ownership state offers the same path.
| Current US Steam path | Displayed total | Difference from matching edition |
|---|---|---|
| Deluxe Edition | $79.99 | Reference package |
| Standard + Deluxe Kit | $89.98 | $9.99 more at current list prices |
| Premium Deluxe Edition | $89.99 | Reference package |
| Standard + Premium Deluxe Kit | $99.98 | $9.99 more at current list prices |
06Edition comparison worksheet
Copy the live item names into three columns—gameplay-affecting item, cosmetic item and media item—then mark only the things you would otherwise buy. Compare the upgrade price with that short list. This avoids treating the number of included items as a quality score and makes regional changes obvious.
07Claims this page deliberately avoids
The published tier names do not prove that a costume, charm or digital soundtrack is exclusive forever, available on every platform, shareable across accounts or purchasable later. They also do not establish a season pass, expansion or additional campaign. Those conclusions require an explicit current storefront statement.
08Avoid double-buying a kit
Before adding a separate kit, check the library and edition entitlement already attached to the account. A bundled edition can already include the kit shown as a separate add-on. Compare the exact item names, not only the words Deluxe or Premium, and let the storefront calculate eligibility and final price.
